First Day of Class

Classroom Information

You will find helpful information about how to prepare for class on this page. To view assignments, you must be a current student at Tech High and log in to PCS FOCUS. To see the open house video with basic program information from 2020 click here.

Before Signing Up

I recommend students obtaining basic computer knowledge before entering the first course in the series. Students should know how to open/save documents, use Microsoft products, have basic typing skills, and know how to use Windows operating systems.

Students should come to class ready to work with a USB flashdrive and their own pair of headphones or ear buds (sorry not Bluetooth).

The majority of products we use in class are free to download and I recommend students who have computers at home experiment with the programs we use in class.

Classroom Expectations

Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and to be in an environment conducive to learning. Respect one another, the teacher, and the equipment at all times. Any form of disrespect or bullying will not be tolerated.
