History of Games Project (Picture to the left was drawn by a student; click to see more samples of student work)

The history of games project was done during week 2 of school.  Students goal was to choose any way to show me what they learned about the history of games that week.  The only parameters was that they need to choose at least 15 facts and the project had to show me they learned something.

This is a project we completed the fifth week of school.  Students had to show what they learned about video game trends.  They chose at 10 current trends and 5 future trends.  They could do ANY project that showed me what they learned about those trends.  Projects ranged from sketches to blogs to C# coding.

This is a project we completed the third week of school.  Students had to show what they learned about video game genres.  They chose at least 9 genres and completed ANY project that showed me what they learned about those genres.  Projects ranged from sketches with captions to C# coding.

This is a project we began January 9, 2019. Students work together as an entire class. Each student has at least one individual role. The students will need to collaborate together and work as one cohesive unit to complete the game. Once complete students will teach workshops to their peers about their role to prove they are a specialist. At the end of the project students will present their games at our school capstone event - in front of industry, community, school, friends and family.
